Today, I am thrilled to announce that I had the honour to be a podcast guest on the Enlightened by Aoife podcast. @enlightenedbyaoife
We talked about trauma, core wounds and grief, topics I am truly passionate about. As a trauma and empowerment specialist and soon to be grief educator, I aim at raising awareness around those topics which to me are not spoken about enough.
When we are in grief, it is important to understand that the pain and the grief will never go, they become a part of us, but the suffering is optional, and there are resources available for you. You are not alone, and you do not have to do it all by yourself. We can help by meeting you where you are on your grief journey.
Every trauma has grief but not every grief has trauma. From outward appearances, a trauma survivor may look whole and healthy, but trauma can fester like an invisible wound, weakening the body’s defences until it manifests in the form of an illness.
In our conversation, we also touch on the profound impact of trauma and grief on self-worth and healing of our inner child, ensuring that our core wounds no longer hold us back from being mindfully present and moving forward in life.
Navigating our healing journey is a process that requires kindness, understanding and compassion towards ourselves. It is crucial to have the appropriate support network to meet us where we are on our healing journey.
I really hope that you enjoy this episode as much as we enjoyed recording it. Many thanks once again to my super host, Aoife. Keep up the good work Aoife and keep inspiring us. Please support Aoife and her channel and do listen to her amazing podcast episodes. Link to the podcast in my Bio.
