We live in a death phobic and grief illiterate society and grief is a language many are afraid to speak, yet it is one we all must learn. I write about grief because I believe in shining a compassionate light on what so often stays hidden in the shadows. Grief doesn’t follow rules or timelines—it’s raw, real, and deeply human. Through my words, I hope to create a safe space where pain is not judged, where love and loss are honoured, and where healing begins through honest expression. When we give voice to grief, we give permission for others to feel, to process, and to eventually rise. We build bridges of understanding in a world that too often expects us to “move on” in silence.

Being a grief educator is not just my calling—it is my sacred service. I am deeply committed to helping others understand that grief is not a problem to fix, but an experience to witness and honour. We must become more grief-literate as a society, so no one feels alone in their sorrow. Each time I guide someone through their grief journey, I feel immense gratitude to walk beside them, even for a moment. There is power in empathy, healing in shared stories, and transformation in education. Together, let’s bring grief out of the darkness and into the light.

And a big thank you to Deepak Deopure, Grief Companion & Transition Coach and Founder, Heal Together Circle, for mentioning me and acknowledging me in his beautiful article ‘My Daughter’s Loss Transformed My Purpose’. Click here to read Deepak's article!

Take care all.

With much love as always,
