Hello beautiful people and souls,

Today, I want to talk about the importance of talking about our grief and to tell people that we are grieving. Feel free to say to people around something like “I want to share something deeply personal with you. Right now, I am grieving.” Grief is a complex and deeply individual experience, and it’s important to remember that there is no hierarchy in grief. Each person’s sorrow is significant, including yours!

At this moment, your grief matters. It’s okay to talk about it, to express it, and to make others aware that you are grieving. Saying “Excuse me, but I am grieving” is not just about seeking understanding—it’s about acknowledging your feelings and giving yourself permission to heal.

It’s crucial to let others know when we are grieving because it helps to foster a compassionate and supportive environment. When we share our grief, we invite empathy and allow those around us to provide the comfort and understanding we need as well as give us the space we might need! It’s a way to connect, to seek solace, and to remind ourselves that we are not alone in our pain.

Please know that your grief matters too. Don’t feel awkward or ashamed to speak about it. We all deserve the space to grieve and to heal, supported by those who care about us.

Thank you all for your kindness and support. 💖

Take care all and please feel free to share this post as you never know who needs to read this today!

With much love as always,
Nadija X
